About us

Moonlight trust was born out of tragedy, kindness and hope. The charity was founded by Noushin Raja in memory of her brother Amaar, nicknamed ‘Moon’.

Moonlight Trust is a growing charity aiming to provide food, shelter, sanitation, medical supplies and basic education to the world’s neediest people. Moonlight Trust continues to advance its mission to brighten lives through eradicating poverty and promoting peace, justice and equality.

International

Starting out supporting food banks in the UK, the charity has now delivered humanitarian projects and supported vulnerable communities in Greece, France, Serbia, Bosnia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Middle East, ranging from sponsoring emergency aid in refugee camps across the globe to building shelters for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

Local

In Uk Moonlight Trust focuses on providing essential support to some of the neediest communities by delivering food packs to referral support and survival kits for homeless as well as organising community events and workshops to raise awareness promoting diversity and human rights.

The charity also offers professional training, employability and mental health support to women from some of the marginalised and ethnic minority groups, especially those who are economically inactive and have access to little support.
